# Place an Order

> Add items to your cart, upload prescriptions, and pay with Chapa.

# Place an Order

This page shows you how to order medicines and health products.

## Add a Product to Your Cart

1. Find the product you want (see [Finding Products](/customer/find-products))
2. Tap the product to open its detail page
3. You will see:
   * **Product photos** — swipe to see all images
   * **Price**
   * **Description**
   * **Dosage information**
   * **Manufacturer**
   * **Expiry date**
   * **Stock status** (in stock / low stock / out of stock)
4. Choose the **quantity** using the + and – buttons
5. If the medicine needs a prescription, you will see a note: **Prescription required**
6. Tap **Add to Cart**

## Buy Now

If you want to buy a single item quickly:

1. On the product detail page, tap **Buy Now**
2. This takes you directly to checkout with just this item

## View Your Cart

1. Tap the **cart icon** at the bottom of the screen
2. You will see all the items you have added:
   * Product name and photo
   * Quantity (use + and – to change)
   * Price
   * Remove button (trash icon)
3. Below the items, you will see:
   * **Subtotal** (total of all items)
   * **Delivery fee** (if applicable)
   * **Total** to pay

## Go to Checkout

1. On the cart page, tap **Proceed to Checkout**
2. You will see these steps:

### Step 1: Shipping Address

* Choose an existing address or tap **Add New Address**
* Enter your delivery location (you can use the map to pin your address)
* Add delivery instructions if needed (for example: "Leave at the gate")

### Step 2: Upload Prescription

* If any item needs a prescription, you will be asked to upload one
* Tap **Upload Prescription**
* Take a photo of your prescription or select one from your gallery
* The pharmacy will review it before preparing your order

### Step 3: Order Summary

* Review your items, quantities, and prices
* Check the delivery address
* See the total amount

### Step 4: Payment

* PharmaNet uses **Chapa** for payments
* You can pay with:
  * **Mobile money** (Tele Birr, etc.)
  * **Bank card** (debit or credit)
* Tap **Pay Now**
* Follow the instructions on the Chapa payment screen
* Wait for the payment to be confirmed

## Order Confirmed

Once your payment is successful:

1. You will see a **confirmation message**
2. You will receive a **notification**
3. The pharmacy will start preparing your order
4. You can track your order in the **Orders** tab

> **Tip:** You need to be logged in to place an order. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in or sign up before checkout.
